This tart, piled high with fresh plums, is surprisingly simple to whip up — premade piecrust and canned almond pastry filling cut down significantly on preparation time.

Yields:
Ingredients
3/4 c. canned almond pastry
refrigerated premade piecrust
medium plums
Directions
  1. Spread canned almond pastry filling on piecrust (rolled out to 12 inches on parchment-paper-lined cookie sheet), leaving 2-inch border; top with plums, fold in edges, and bake at 400 degrees F for 30 to 35 minutes or until crust is golden and filling is bubbling.
